Making the Transition

Wow! I've been in the direct sales game for 6 months now! I have signed one consultant and I have made one elevation into Team Leader. All these things are great but I am no where near where I need to be. But again given that I have been in the game only 6 months I think that I am going pretty strong.
A few things that I have learned along the way:

Get Out of the House!! Just because your not going to punch the clock does not give you license to stay home all day. You have to get out. Sheke things up a little meet new people, stike up a conversation with the cashier. Anything to get you used to speaking to complete strangers about your amazing business.

Join a group- Meetup.com has some great groups. Join some. Not only are they a lot of fun but you will be amazed at the business contacts you will find there! It will do fab things for your business.

Book Parties- Everywhere you go. Every person you come in contact with is a potential host/hostess. Talk about your business often.

There are tools to help you out. Your company should offer weekly training calls and other opportunities for training. If not you are with the wrong company! Utilize these, when leaders talk - listen then implement what they say into a course of action for your business.
